TNR PROGRAM CHANGES:

Effective 10:31:23, the TNR check-in will occur from 7:45 am to 8:15 am. To participate in the TNR Lottery, arrive between these times to receive a lottery number. At 8:15 am, we’ll draw 10 spots for Feral-Not Tamed or Handleable cats eligible for TNR services. Additional spots may be offered based on public client attendance. Clients displaying aggression, rudeness, or swearing at our staff will be issued trespassing notices.

Please refrain from arriving before 7:45 am, as this won’t increase your chances of selection. Avoid parking, sitting, or blocking our front gate to ensure a safe environment for our employees.

To qualify for Free TNR:

- No appointment necessary for our Free Roaming/Feral Cat TNR Program.

- To qualify, bring proof of Spartanburg County residency. Cats must be trapped in Spartanburg County, arrive in a humane trap, one cat per trap, and receive an eartip (No exceptions).

- We limit drop-off to one feral cat per person daily Pick-up on the same day as drop-off by 4:00 pm.

TNR Services Include: Spay/Neuter Surgery, Rabies & Feline Distemper/Panleukopenia Vaccines, and an eartip.

On October 17, 2016 Spartanburg County passed Resolution # R-16-130 allowing Spartanburg County to establish a Trap, Neuter and Return program for Feral/Community Felines. Many times these felines are locally referred to as outside or barn cats..

GCAC will spay or neuter community (free roaming) cats at no cost to citizens of Greenville County. Limit 2 cats per household per day, (Monday-Thursday) check website for announcements. 

Provides on-going low cost spay/neuter options, as well as pro-actively seeks out people and animals who need them through free door-to-door campaigns along with special events. Has been dedicated to saving and improving the lives of companion animals in the Upstate since 2003. 

Provides low-cost spay/neuter and vaccinations.
